THAI STREET FOOD

"I initially read about this place in a Guardian article where it mentioned the "cosy garden setting" where the chef "grills boneless strips to crispy-outer and tender-inner perfection". Recently I was recommended it again by David from David's Kitchen who said it's one of his favourite restaurants in the city."

"This ribs restaurant came recommended to me by a local restaurant owner but I was a bit hesitant to have ribs here, given that I have very high standards for ribs. However, the recommendation was specific for the "tom yum" flavoured fusion ribs, which got me interested."

"Really great restaurant specialising in Northern Thai cuisine. I think all of the customers were Thai and Chinese when I was there but I'm not sure why it's not more popular with the western crowd."

Best Mango Sticky Rice

THAI DESSERT

"Great place for Mango Sticky Rice (50B) but they also do egg custard and sticky rice (20B) and banana/sweet potato in coconut milk (both 20B). Seating is outside but I think if you buy something from 'At Chiang Mai' behind it, you can probably sit inside with A/C."

"Noticeably different from most Khao Sois, it had an added depth and sourness to it. It really reminded me of Boat Noodles in Bangkok, so I asked the owner if they use pork blood but she said they don't and I wasn't able to find out where the sour taste was coming from."
