Ipoh is a city near Cameron Highlands, known for its Hakka and Cantonese-influenced Chinese food. "Nga Choy Kai" (bean sprout chicken) and Ipoh White Coffee are probably the two most famous items, but there's also "Hakka Mee", "Chee Cheong Fun" and "Hor Mee" are also big here. There is some Indian food but not much compared with Penang. It seems most of the best food is in the mornings and afternoon, with a lot of the best options closing before dinner.
