Widely regarded as the best place for Penang Assam Laksa. It's a bustling place with a great atmosphere and the efficient staff will have your bowl of delicious laksa ready before you've had a chance to take in the setting.
The laksa has a deep, interesting, fresh flavour which I really enjoyed. I haven't had enough of this type of laksa to know how this one rates though. If you're visiting the Kek Lok Si temple then you really should stop here for lunch. Otherwise, it might be a bit far (20 minutes and RM10 in a Grab taxi) when there are plenty of laksa options in Georgetown.
