This place came recommended to me by a local as beef cutlet is a speciality of Kyoto. I went for the set and it was interesting but the beef itself was a big disappointment. Very little flavour in the meat and it wasn't even tender.
There seems to be 3 options for the beef: normal cutlet (1380 yen), "special cutlet" (1980 yen) and "wagyu cutlet" (2480 yen). I went for the middle one but I have no idea if the wagyu would have been worth the extra money.
