Sài Gòn xưa và nay

Went here for dinner with a friend after we drove past it and it looked very lively. It has a great atmosphere and lots of locals getting drunk and playing guitar. Our waiter was funny and drank beer with us (and weirdly tried to help us with every dish). They serve a bit of everything, but lots of fish and snails. There's lots of big restaurants with this style, I think it's Chinese-influenced. We had a plate of shrimps in tamarind sauce, a big steamed fish, fried rice and some spinach. All very nice but not particularly cheap.
